Local High School Principal Injured in Truck Accident

Arnold & Itkin has just filed a case on behalf of a local man who was severely injured in a truck crash. Our client, a high school principal in our community, was at a red light when the truck violently rear-ended his vehicle. Unfortunately, our client is just one of many who have been harmed by the negligence of truckers and their employers.

Most people live under the assumption that serious truck accidents can only occur at high speeds or on busy highways. This case should serve as a warning of how untrue that is. Fully-loaded 18-wheeler trucks can weigh up to 80,000 pounds—as much as a passenger train car. At that weight and size, a truck does not have to be moving at high speeds in order to do significant damage. Its sheer mass at a relatively low speed is enough to inflict serious damage comparable to a high-speed crash between passenger vehicles. That is, sadly, what happened in our client's case.

Our firm is honored that our client chose us to protect his security, his future, and his health. We are proud to help an important member of our own community get high-quality medical care while preparing his case against those responsible for his injuries. The case was filed in Harris County, where the Defendant's headquarters reside.
