Arnold & Itkin File Lawsuit Over Fatal 18-Wheeler Accident

The truck accident attorneys at Arnold & Itkin have filed a lawsuit on behalf of a widow whose husband was killed last month in an accident with an 18-wheeler. The lawsuit alleges that the victim was traveling home from work on Highway 121 northeast of Dallas when he collided with an 18-wheeler that was making an illegal U-turn within 500 feet of a hill. By the time the victim saw the 18-wheeler blocking the roadway, he did not have time to avoid the head-on collision. The truck driver was subsequently arrested for negligent homicide.

The lawsuit was filed on behalf of the victim’s widow and four children. It alleges that the truck driver and its employer failed to take proper precautions to protect the public. The lawsuit also alleges that the employer failed to insure its driver was competent to operate the 18-wheeler. The family is seeking compensation for the wrongful death of their husband and father.

The case was filed in Fannin County, Texas.

The plaintiffs are being represented by Attorneys Kurt Arnold, Jason Itkin, and Cesar Tavares.
