Case Filed for Trucker Hit by Another Truck Driver

Attorneys Kurt Arnold, Caj Boatright, Alison Baimbridge, and Roland Christensen filed suit today for a Missouri man who was severely injured while driving down a Texas roadway. Arnold & Itkin LLP’s client was on the road when suddenly and unexpectedly, another commercial truck driver lost control of his truck and collided with him. It's been determined that the at-fault driver lost control because he was driving recklessly.

Our client suffered severe injuries to his neck, back, face and head that will require extensive medical treatment. Injuries to the neck, back, face, and head often leave people unable to work. Traumatic brain injury can leave people unable to drive, remember important details, or focus for long periods of time; these are all vital skills for any truck driver. Neck injuries can leave people in pain for the rest of their lives.

When someone's recklessness creates hardships for another person, it's only right that they take responsibility for it. In this case, the at-fault driver and his insurance company ought to pay for our client's medical care and lost wages for as long as he needs to recover. Our goal is to make sure they do so.

We filed suit in Hopkins County, Texas.
