Arnold & Itkin LLP recently filed a lawsuit on behalf of two hardworking men who sustained serious injuries as a result of a multi-vehicle accident, which was caused by an 18-wheeler. At up to 80,000 pounds, 18-wheeler accidents represent a far larger portion of catastrophic injury and death than any other highway vehicle.
In cases where motorists aren’t killed by these massive trucks, they’re often left with lifelong injuries—many of which keep them from earning a living. When that happens, it’s our job to hold the trucking company accountable and to ensure that their victims have everything they need to pay medical bills, keep themselves out of debt, provide for their families, and allow them to recover without fear of the future.
Trucking companies often operate outside of the law—encouraging drivers to violate hours of service regulations, drive trucks that aren’t maintained well, or drive during the most dangerous hours on the road. Preventing these companies from continuing to break the law means holding them responsible when their practices cause serious damage.
Arnold & Itkin LLP looks forward to representing these men and seeking the justice they deserve.
The lawsuit was filed in Jefferson County, Texas.
