Arnold & Itkin’s truck accident litigation team filed a lawsuit on behalf of a Louisianan man and woman who were injured in a wreck with a big rig truck. The two victims were traveling on Highway 27 north of Lake Charles when a big rig unexpectedly pulled out in front of their vehicle in attempt to turn across the oncoming traffic. The victim’s vehicle collided with the big rig and caused them severe injuries to several parts of their body.
The lawsuit was filed against the driver of the big rig and Bazco Petroleum Transport, the driver’s employer. It claims the driver was negligent in failing to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic and that Bazco Petroleum Transport was negligent in not properly training the driver how to safely operate the vehicle.
