The commercial truck accident attorneys at Arnold & Itkin recently filed a lawsuit on behalf of a 20-year-old student who was injured in an accident with an 18-wheeler. The plaintiff was driving eastbound on State Highway 176 near the intersection of FM 1788 in Andrews County, Texas when the 18-wheeler failed to yield the right of way, causing a collision with the plaintiff's vehicle. As a result of the accident, the plaintiff suffered severe injuries to his head, chest, back, limbs, and other parts of his body.
The lawsuit names the driver of the 18-wheeler and his employer, G&W Trucking, as defendants. The suit alleges that the truck driver failed to yield right of way to the plaintiff and that his employer was negligent in hiring, training and supervising its employee. The plaintiff is seeking compensation for past and future medical bills, loss of wages, and future mental anguish and impairment. The lawsuit was filed in Andrews County, Texas.
