Arnold & Itkin has filed a case in East Baton Rough Parish for a couple who was severely injured in a truck accident. Our newest clients were heading from Shreveport to Ruston in Louisiana when they started traveling through a construction zone. While in this zone, two semi-trucks behind them failed to slow down—brutally rear-ending their vehicle. The nature of the accident led to the arrest of one of the truck drivers on the scene.
Trucking companies are responsible for the actions of their employees—especially when those actions directly lead to the injury and harm of other drivers. Regardless of what their insurance companies may say, the two truckers who caused this accident are responsible for what happened to our clients. Their employers should be held accountable.
The fact is this:
Our clients are still recovering from their injuries. They’ve needed extensive medical care, and they will continue needing it until they’re fully recovered. Even then, lost wages will making affording care more difficult. These injuries are costly in multiple ways, and it’s not just or right that our clients should pay for injuries caused by someone else. Arnold & Itkin is proud to help our clients fight for compensation to help them recover physically, emotionally, and financially.
