A resident of Goose Greek, North Carolina was killed on September 23 as the driver failed to see an oncoming car and consequently crashed head first into a nearby tractor trailer truck. Pinned underneath the truck, he had to be removed by the North Charleston Fire Department. The man was transported to the Medical University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead as a result of blunt force trauma.
